Hi! In Egypt, some of our rules are the same as yours, Nurlan. We also take off our
shoes in someone's home, and we don't finish all the food on our plate. We use
our right hand to eat. Giving gifts is good etiquette here, but we don't give flowers
when we visit someone. Flowers are usually for weddings or the sick. Good gifts
include sweets or pastries. And most important of all, we always give the gift with
our right hand.
