Katya: Yes, of course.
Jim: What is a dacha?
Katya: Oh, a dacha is a piece of land, often with a small country house on it. Usually people grow different plants, vegetables and fruit there.
Jim: Have you got a dacha?
Katya: Yes, my parents have.
Jim: Did you spend your summer holidays at your dacha?
Katya: Usually I do. But it's boring to go there every year. This summer I was in a holiday camp on the Black Sea, in Sochi.
Jim: Oh, I know Sochi. It's the city of the Winter Olympic Games in 2014 (twenty fourteen).
Katya: Yes, that's right.
Jim: Did you enjoy your time in Sochi?
Katya: Yes, it was hot and sunny. At the camp I sunbathed a lot, swam in the sea, and played with my new friends. Every day we had different sports competitions and played popular outdoor games.
Jim: That's great. I like to spend my summer holidays at the seaside too.
