Many Kazakh folk customs associated with wedding ceremonies. Wedding accompanied choral singing, in which relatives and friends of the bride wanted a happy life. At a meeting in the village of the bride groom sang the song "bet-ashar" (opening bride's face), which consisted of exhortations on how to behave in society, the family.
According to custom, the groom paid the dowry (bride) and made various gifts: the mother - for feeding and education of the bride, father - for the wedding expenses.
In the life of Kazakhs held an important place folk festivals. They were associated with a wedding, the birth of a child, a triumphant return of the soldiers, the new year. Holiday is always accompanied by music and singing.
