Hello there, everyone. Today we are going to talk about lions, or "The Kings of the Jungle" - their alternative, less scientific nickname. They are called like that for a good reason - they are muscular, strong, aggressive and are usually dominant in their social groups called "prides", also being native to Africa and India. They fear no other animals, and they've earned this nickname mostly for that reason. However, they are not always that intimidating and scary. Although they have been known to hunt other human beings, they usually don't seek them out and ignore them most of the time. Lions inhabit grasslands, savannas and shrublands, and while they tend to be more diurnal than other wild cats like tigers, they can also adapt to being active at night and at twilight. They can be considered as one of the most widely recognised animal symbols in our culture because of their dominance in the animal world and their strength. Thank you for listening to me.
