Name bad habits.
The worst bad habits are: smoking, taking drugs and drinking alcohol.
1. The most convincing arguments against bad habits seem to me as follows:
1) bad habits such as smoking, taking drugs and drinking alcohol cause many serious problems to your healht, for example, a cough, a headache, cancer, brain disease, heart and lung diseases, slow reactions, loss of memory and even AIDS;
2) one should know that bad habits make your teeth yellow, skin unhealthy and your speech unclear. They also make your hair, skin and clothes smell;
3) as a result bad habits affect your whole family and the people around you as well. On the other hand, smoking, taking drugs and drinking alcohol affect your knowledge and your self-control for sure.
2. In order to convince my friends or parents not to smoke or drink too much alcohol I will use such arguments:
- smoking leads to a persistent cough and lung cancer,
- drinking too much alcohol causes heart and brain diseases, slow reaction and loss of memory;
- both smoking and drinking too much alcohol may result in AIDS;
- these two bad habits will make your teeth yellow, skin unhealthy and your speech unclear. They will also make your hair, skin and clothes smell;
- smoking and drinking too much alcohol will affect your whole family and the people around you as well;
- your knowledge and your self-control will be influenced by smoking and drinking too much alcohol;
- having these two bad habits increases your risks of being put into prison, being sacked from school, being fined for smoking in the wrong place or even banned from offices, underground, buses, churches etc.
