5 4 Read the text and answer the questions. a Pyotr Kapitsa was a famous Russian physicist. He was born on 8th July, 1894 in Krnstadt. When he was a student, he stopped his studies to work as an ambulance driver during WWI. He graduated in 1918 and then moved to England to work with Ernest Rutherford. He made a number of discoveries related to magnetic fields and he became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1929. He started doing research in low temperatures in the 1930s which led to his discovery of superfluidity in 1937. He helped to start the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and he taught there for many years. From 1957, he was a member of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1978 for his work in 1937.
