Thank you for your letter. You letter always make me happy.
It's fascinating that you travel around England and enjoy it. In your letter, you asked me whether I travel, too. Actually, I do. In recent years I've been to Macedonia, Croatia and Greece. It was wonderful there! But recently I haven't been travelling a lot since I have to study hard to get ready for my exams, with which I will be inevitably encumbered at the end of the year. So there is practically no time for travelling.
Since you asked it, my favourite means of travelling is by air: it's the most convenient and fast. However, I get most excited when strolling about the streets of foreign countries sightseeing (and shopping, of course). Sometimes I even get a chance to talk to locals — that is so exciting as it's a great opportunity to practice my language skills.
In my city, the most popular means of public transit is the metro (in your country, I believe, it's called the Underground). You know, here in Saint Petersburg people are afraid to get on the surface as their skin starts to melt! Or soak... jkjk. In fact, it is convenient as by metro you could get to any place in the city in no time as compared to the ground transportation.
Now, I'd better go as I have to study for my exams.
