alexandra2132 People weren't really happy in 1940s. It was a period of terrible wars: from 1939 till 1940 it was Winter War and from 1939 till 1945 it was the Second World War. Awful times were. people were suffered,a lot of people were hungry. But, I think, people of that time could be glad a little. They were happy because of some nice things in their life
