In a few days, I will go on a long weekend to the Lake District in the UK. It is a very popular holiday destination in the north of England. I am going on my own and I think I will have a wonderful time. I am going to stay in a youth hostel. I am sure I will meet some nice people. There are so many memorable things; breathtaking views and lovely picturesque villages. It can get very busy with lots of tourists that’s why I decided to go out of season in the autumn. I have already checked the weather forecast. They say that the weather will be sunny and warm. I am going to visit some local shops. I know they are full of local crafts. I am going to buy souvenirs for my friends. It will be a great holiday! It’s certainly not the kind of short break for someone looking for a busy nightlife but if you want to relax in the middle of stunning landscape I would certainly recommend a holiday to the Lake District.
