Barry loved looking at the stars at night. When he was a little boy, he wanted to be an astronaut. 'I'm going to travel in a spacecraft and explore all eight planets in the solar system', he said to his friends.

Today, Barry is still interested in space, but now he is an astronomer. He uses a telescope to study the Moon. He's also interested in asteroids. These are large pieces of rock which orbit around the Sun. There are millions of them between Mars and Jupiter.
