Alexander Pushkin
Every person has a favorite writer or poet in their life. we can enthusiastically read and reread his works several times, and this makes them even more interesting and beloved.
Such a writer was A. S. Pushkin for me. I don't remember the first time I heard his name, but it doesn't matter. The main thing is that his fairy tales, poems and prose, the characters of his works seem to have joined my life and become a part of it.
I remember as a little girl sympathizing with the old man from the tale of the goldfish, how I really wanted to have the same cat at home, walking around the tree .on a gold chain. I remember how I wanted to be like the Queen, then the "White Swan" from "the tale of Tsar Saltan".
And based on the cartoon based on "the tale of the sleeping princess and the seven heroes", I learned the fairy tale by heart - I liked its characters so much. Of course, I didn't know then that all these characters were created by A. S. Pushkin. And only much later, when my mother read me poems about the winter evening, and about the muse, and about the Lyceum, and about the nanny, and about autumn, and much, much more, I first heard about the author of these amazing poems, Alexander Pushkin. From that moment on, I never parted from him again.
I searched the library for his books and reread them several times. I tried to resemble the best heroines of his works. I remember when I first read the story "Dubrovsky" and it was difficult for me to determine my attitude to Masha. I was also struck by the poem "Poltava", but not so much by its plot, but because of a sense of pride for the heroes-warriors.
Over time, I realized that no matter what work of Pushkin I read, I would still have an exalted feeling of joy and admiration in my soul. Even if not everything will be joyful in the work, not everything will end well, but still after meeting Pushkin, a holiday remains in the heart for a long time. And this, I think, is the strength and genius of my favorite poet. He loved his homeland, his native people, his native word, woman, nature as few people could love, and was able to exalt all this in sincere poetry.
How much did Alexander Sergeyevich do for us, his descendants, in his short life! He created the beautiful, he showed the beautiful around us, he taught us to love this beautiful, to be the best, to unite everyone under the star of good and call us to tirelessly do good.
He is still with us today, among us, not in a portrait or sculpture, but in his poems and in our hearts
