Our modern world, saturated with vanity, haste, information, crises, has its own heroes. They don't talk about them on TV, they don't hang medals on their chests. These are ordinary people who live according to their conscience.
There are quite a few such heroes among us: look around and you will definitely see someone's clever eyes, you will hear a kind word. Every day some things await us, we are all in a hurry somewhere, in a hurry, not noticing anything around, but sometimes it is worth looking around. Sometimes you fall on ice, someone will help you to get up, so to speak, "will lend a helping hand" - here he is, a hero, thank you! And someone will pass by - after all, he and his worries are full ...
As you treat others, so they will treat you.
But a real hero will not wait for praise, he will go on, illuminating everything around with his smile, towards difficulties and victories. Victories, rather, over oneself: over one's laziness, which sometimes rolls over like a wave and carries it to the sofa, to the TV; over their egoism, which from time to time makes you think only of yourself, not paying attention to the needs of others. Yes, all this is characteristic of the hero of our time, the only difference is that he knows how to overcome his weaknesses and go further towards his goal.
I believe that the hero of our time is the person who works for the good of society, that is, loves his job and gives himself completely to it, he always strives for something: he lives, seeing a goal in front of him. Let our hero not be a director, not a boss, but just a worker, a kindergarten teacher, teacher, doctor, etc., but he does his job sincerely, professionally, passionately, with interest. This is real heroism in our time - to be devoted to your work, passionate about it.
I think that the hero of our time believes in the future of his country and, of course, takes to heart the troubles of others, people unfamiliar to him. These qualities of an ordinary person still allow our Russian society to exist. Isn't this a sign of courage and heroism - to remain human, despite any difficulties?
Can I, and others like me, become heroes of our time? I think yes. If we understand that we have only one life and we must live it so that our parents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are proud of us, then the whole country will become heroic, as it was during the Great Patriotic War.
