Fill in prepositions or adverbs where necessary


A strange thing happened___ me the other day. When I entered ___ my flat I saw a tiger sitting __ the middle __ my room. __ some minutes I stood terror- stricken. I tried to remember some rules __ behaviour __ the presence__ wild animals, but soon realized that I had never learned any. As my tiger seemed__ no hurry to have me __ dinner, I managed to get __ my fear __ the animal and began giving him my impressions __ the last film I saw. Probably the tiger was not used __ such amusing stories, for __ first he looked puzzled, but little __ little got interested __ the contents __ the film ( another proof __ his intelligence).
I'm sure this unbelievable story was a surprise __ you, but it was just a little trick to make you use some prepositions __ their proper places.
