He made a mistake by only two
Jack was a football coach at an American College. He was always trying to find good players for his team. Jack is very well coached their players.
Well they were running, jumping, swimming, rowing and playing different games. They often took part in races and practically always won. All players Jack were tall strong men, good athletes and just good people. They very rarely gave him problems, and the College team was the best in the state. Regular exercise, diet and exercise were very important for athletes. They always followed the advice of the coach and has achieved excellent results in domestic and international competitions and matches. They rarely lose and rarely played in a draw. In fact, they almost always won.
The only problem some players had a bad knowledge of many school subjects because the sportsmen were often weak in mathematics, English, etc. And they were not always easy to become students of the College.
One day the coach brought an excellent football player to the College Professor. The Professor had to ask a young player a few questions. The Professor chose very simple questions, but the guy was unable to answer them. Finally the Professor said:
— What's five times seven?
The student thought for a long time and then replied:
— Thirty-seven.
The Professor shook his head and looked at the coach:
— It's impossible! he said. I don't want to punish your team. I understand he can throw the ball very well, but alas he doesn't know math at all. He can't be a student.
But the coach said earnestly:
But, please, sir! Let him be a student. He was wrong only two.
