Winter holidays
Schoolchildren and students have winter holidays every year. They begin at the end of December and last for two weeks. Students always look forward to these days, because they don’t need to go to school or college. They also have a chance to spend their time with their families, friends and relatives.
The most wonderful thing is that the atmosphere is filled with joy and magic. People decorate their homes, cook tasty food and buy presents for each other. No doubt, all adults and children really enjoy celebrating Christmas and New Year’ Eve. The most exciting is going out at night and watching fireworks.
People have an opportunity to have a good rest during their winter holidays, because for most of them the first eight days of January are days off. They can go to another place or to the country, spend time skiing or skating, go to the cinema and watch an interesting film. As for me, I like winter holidays very much because it is a great time to relax, see friends and relatives. I fell a little sad when the holidays come to an end.
