It was the first day of primary school and I was a bundle of nerves. I woke up early and picked out my best clothes to wear - a brand new white shirt and navy blue pants. I couldn't wait to start my new journey and meet my classmates and teacher.

As soon as I arrived at school, I was greeted by my teacher, Mrs. Petrova. She had a warm smile and kind eyes, which immediately put me at ease. I knew that I was going to like her.

The first day was filled with lots of new experiences. We learned how to line up, how to raise our hand to speak, and even played a few games to get to know each other. I was a little shy at first, but soon found myself making new friends. We shared stories and laughs, and I knew that I was going to enjoy my time at this school.

As the day came to an end, I couldn't believe how quickly it had flown by. I felt happy and excited for the days to come. I couldn't wait to learn new things and make more friends.

Looking back, I realize now that I had nothing to be scared of. My first day at primary school was one of the best days of my life and I will always remember it with fondness.
