In your letter you asked about our national gallery. Well, your letter made me go to the Tretyakov Picture Gallery. It was founded in the 19th century. A lot of pictures by famous Russian artists are exhibited there. It’s famous all over the world. You see, your decision to go to a medical school was quite a surprise for me. What made you choose this field? Is this your father who advised you to go there? How long is the course of studies in a medical school? Well, I must finish now — my lessons begin in half an hour.
