My name is Peter Ivanov. In June, I dropped out of school and went to medical college. Now I am a student. College of Medicine was founded in 1930 and was named after L.A. Tarasevich. The college is located in the central region of Tiraspol. The school year begins on September 1. We have two terms and summer and winter holidays. Our college students wear a uniform: a white dress. Our classes begin at 8:30 and end at 14:30. We have a lunch break at 11.20 in the morning. We have a good dining room and during our lunch we eat there. On the ground floor there is a gym. Our library is also on the ground floor. It contains many books on medicine, newspapers and magazines. Our classes and laboratories are large and bright. Our laboratories are well equipped. Every day we attend lectures and practice. Senior students undergo internships outside the college: in a clinic, in a maternity hospital, in the emergency department, in a hospital, in laboratories, in a pharmacy. Students follow regular schedules. Our schedule has many topics. We study humanities (Russian, English, Moldavian, history, geography ...); natural sciences (biology, chemistry, microbiology); special sciences (pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, etc.). I'm doing well, because I want to be a good specialist. At the end of each semester, we take exams. I will try to transfer them successfully. Many of our college students live in a dormitory. It is not far from our college. We have classes 6 days a week. Sunday is a day off. I like my college. I always feel at home there. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with.
