The purpose of this activity is to complete a picture using the puzzle pieces. There can be small jigsaw puzzles that have only 20-25 pieces and there are huge ones that consist of one thousand pieces.

Jigsaw puzzle pieces are packed in the box. First, find and put aside the corner pieces. Second, put aside the straight edge pieces. Third, put light-coloured pieces with light-coloured pieces, dark with dark and medium colour with medium colour. Then take the straight edge pieces and put them together making the frame of the picture. After that follow the pattern and complete the whole picture.
