Nature reserves around the world
There are many nature reserves around the world. They were created to save endangered species and keep them in their real habitat.
The first one I would like to tell you about is Monument Valley. The uniqueness of monument Valley is directly related to its origin. It is hard to imagine that 250 million years ago there was a sea here.
Monument Valley is an area of extraordinary Sandstone cliff that rises to a height of 300 m. It is one of the most familiar images of the American West. It is a giant flat desert plain, in the middle of which the Sandstone cliffs rise.

The Pantanal is a vast wetland area in South America, located in the Brazilian States of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as neighbouring countries – Paraguay and Bolivia. The total area is about 195,000 square kilometres, making this region the largest tropical reserve in the world. Here you can observe the rarest species of animals, birds, reptiles, and plants. Most of the swamps are located around the Paraguay River. The area gets its name from the Portuguese word "Pantano"- wet lowland.

Serengeti National Park was established in 1951 as a nature reserve covering a huge area in Northern Tanzania (14,763 km2). In the Maasai language, Serengeti means "Endless Plains." It is a very accurate description since the park is the largest in Tanzania.
The Serengeti is famous for being home to 35 species of mammals, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, buffaloes, rhinos, baboons, and antelopes, as well as more than 500 species of birds. Many of these animals are not found anywhere else in the world.
