my children’s entertainment.
2. I use an interactive whiteboard, like a large touchscreen monitor, at school.
I find computers very useful in education.
3. Assistive technology, for people with disabilities, has helped me a lot. I
can hardly see, so I use a screen reader, a program that reads aloud
on screen text, menus and icons.
4. This new HMD, head-mounted display, allows me to watch films, and
enjoy virtual reality, the artificial environment of the latest video games.
5. The upgraded wireless network at my university is great: we can connect
our laptops, PDAs, and Wi-Fi cell phones to the network anywhere in the
campus. Communication is becoming easier and easier.
b) … or foe?
1. Our society has developed technological dependence. When computers
are down, our way of life breaks down: planes stop flying, telephones
don’t work, banks have to close.
2. Computers produce electronic waste, plastic cases and microchips that are
not biodegradable and have to be recycled or just thrown away.
3. They are responsible for health problems, e.g. computer addiction, an
inappropriate and excessive use of computers.
4. Cybercrime, crime committed with the help of computers, is creating
serious problems.
5. Citizens may feel a loss of privacy because of unauthorized use of personal
data or receiving unwanted electronic messages.

Жизнь с компьютерами.а) Компьютеры друзья людей, которые выросли с персональными компьютерами и игровыми приставками, часто называют цифровое поколение. Это тогда, когда
некоторые люди подвергали сомнению о полезности использования компьютеров в их жизни.
1. У меня есть GPS, это - система глобального позиционирования. Она помещается в мой автомобиль. С этой навигационной системой я никогда не заблужусь. И DVD - рекордер прекрасен развлечение для моих детей.
2. В школе я использую интерактивную доску, как крупный монитор с сенсорным экраном.
Я считаю компьютеры очень полезны в образовании.
3. Много мне помогла, вспомогательная технология, для инвалидов. Я плохо вижу, поэтому использую программу, которая читает вслух текст с экрана, меню и изображение.
4. Этот новый формат, установленный на компьютере, позволяет мне смотреть
фильмы и наслаждаться виртуальной реальностью, исскуственной окружающей средой последних видеоигр.
