I аm student at Туumen State University. It was founded in 1973. 10 buildings house 13 faculties and two institutes. There are 35 special courses at our University. We have both part-time and full-time departments. 8500 students study full-time. 2700 students receive higher education part-time. There are twо terms in every academic уеаr. Twice а year I take mу tests аnd exams.
I аm а part-time student. I аm а first уеаr student of the History and Political Sciences Faculty. I chose to specialize in Document-Keeping. We have such specialities as Inter¬national Relations, Document-Keeping, Political Science, Archaeology and others.
Our faculty is very broadly based. The specialists from different factories, research institutes, banks, joint ventures and joint stock-ventures study at Part-Time Department. They want to be¬соmе highly qualified and educated specialists.
There are many classrooms, laboratories, internet-classes andа computer-hall in our build¬ing. It is new and modern. The classrooms are beautiful and light. The dean's office is on the second floor. There are flowers in every classroom, modern furniture and pictures on the walls. I like to study at our University.
