The Tsiolkovsky Museum of the history of Cosmonautiks was opened in 1967 in Kaluga city and is named after the Russian rocket scientist, Konstantin Tsyolkovsky (1857-1935). It is the first museum of space exploration that was built in the world and is the biggest museum in Russia.
The building has over 2,300 sq metres og exhibition area and presents the history of modern space exploration from the first man-made rocket to spaceships and space stations. Музей Истории Космонавтики им. Циолковского был открыт в 1967 году в городе Калуге и назван в честь российского астронома Константина Циолковского(1857-1935). Это первый музей космических исследований, построенный в мире и самый крупнейший(музей) в России.В здании свыше 2,300 кв.м. выставочной площади и на ней представлена история современных космических исследований от первых ракет, сделанных человеком до космических кораблей и космических станций. Она(выставка) разделена на три части. В первом зале посетитель может увидеть модели ракет Циолковского. Во второй секции представлены много моделей и инструментов российских космических исследований. Третий зал музея находится на улице в саду, где люди могут увидеть настоящие ракеты, которые были использованы в ранних космических исследованиях.
