One of the best ways to cheer yourself up with food is to have a low fat, low protein, high carb snack. So try a muffin with no butter but lots of jam or honey. It can cheer you up in just half an hour and will even help you sleep better at night. Fight stress with fruit smoothies! Give yourself an energy boost by drinking a smoothie loaded with lots of different kinds of fruit and some seeds, like sunflower seeds. Finally, eat a bit more meat and fish. Maybe you are short of iron, can make you feel tired and put you in a bad mood. Eat meat or fish to get your energy levels back up. Also, eating meat and fish will help you get more iron from plants like spinach too.
