If i had to live on an uninhabited island for the whole next year, I would take the following things with me: two books (namely: island survival guide and botanical handbook) and small axe. Actually all the rest thing from the list would be absolutely useless in such a situation. Those chosen books would help me to survive: to build kind of a camp, make a fire, pull on a hammock, get food and fresh water and they would give me much more useful knowledge than any of other object from the list. And of course while obtaining an axe, I would be able to explore the island easily, to defend myself and to cut wood in order to use separate planks for my construction purposes.
