It was New Year's Eve.

My friend Hannah invited me to the party at her family house.

When I came to her, everybody was preparing for the holiday.

I wanted to help and we decided to make a potato salad.

Hannah's father was peeling potatoes, Hannah's mother was baking  Stollen - a German holiday cake, whereas Hannah and I fried potatoes and got chips.

After dinner we sang German songs and watched TV.
