Thank you for your letter.Sorry, I haven’t written for so long. I was really busy with my exams.
As for Christmas, it used tobe very popular holiday in Russia but I can’t say that it is still popularnowadays. So, usually there is no special preparation for it. We just sit roundthe table and have an ordinary dinner but we always say to each other ”MerryChristmas”! The Russians are fond of New Year holiday and it is celebrated inevery family!
I have to finish my letter becauseI have promised my mum to dust the shelves.
