Maybe people are very hard to perceive the film, because they have already received their initial emotions and views from the book.
Very difficult to pull off on the book of the film. Filming more involves a transfer action. It does not pass all the depth, which can transmit the book. Inevitably, something gets lost. The book also gives time for reflection and assessment of reading. You can postpone it for a while, or return to the previous pages and re-examine, through together with the heroes of different events.
I think that it is better to read a book than watch a version of the movie.
