Sergey Korolev was a rocket engineer and designer. He was called  the father of the space programme. Sergey graduated from  the Kiev Polytechnic Institute,the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School and Moscow Pilot School. Korolev has a lot of merit. He tested and launched the spaceship Vostok. Also he published a book '' A rocket flight in stratosphere''. Sergey received the Lenin Prize and the Tsiolkowsky Gold Medal.
