Put the parts of the text in the correct order to make a logic story.

1) Historians counted at least 70 clubs across the country in the middle of the nineteenth century. The problem was, everyone was playing to a different set of rules.

2) In 1857 the first-ever football-only club was founded in Sheffield. (Other football clubs existed already, but they were either linked to schools, universities, or cricket or rugby union clubs.)

3) The first football clubs in the world were set up in England during the middle of the nineteenth century. Public schools and universities in the south founded some, cricket clubs or firms in the industrial north set up others. There were quite many of them.

4) The first attempt to write some standardised rules came in 1846, when scientists at Cambridge University wrote some of them.

5) Then the men from this club wrote down some rules of their own – the Sheffield Rules.
