Aslan and his followers rescueEdmund.
The Witch demands Edmund’s life. She says that Edmund is a traitor.And the Deep Magic of Narnia says that a traitor’s life belongs to her. Aslan cannot deny this.
One night Susan and Lucy notice that Aslan has disappeared. They follow him. They (2) behind the bushes and watch the Witch and her followers. They kill Aslan. He sacrifices his life for Edmund.
The girls stay with Aslan’s dead body. They hear a noise and see that the Stone Table has broken. Aslan has disappeared. Suddenly the girls hear his voice. Aslan has risen from the dead. Then they go to the Witch’s castle. Aslan kills the Witch. Peter’s army defeats the Witch’s followers.
Aslan forgivesEdmund and knightshim.The children become the rulers of Cair Paravel in Narnia. Later Aslan disappears. The children become adults and rule for many years. One day they go back to the lamppostthat is the border between Narnia and the real world. They are back to Professor Kirke’s house again. No time has passed. They are the children again.
Later, the siblings tell him about their adventure. Professor Kirke assuresthem that they will return to Narnia again someday.
Aslan disagrees with the Witch that according to the Deep Magic of Narnia she can take the traitor with her.
Lamppost is the border between the two worlds.
