La Tomatina is famous because of the unusual way that people celebrate, its a big food fight! Its name comes from the food that people throw - tomatoes! Thousands of people throw tomatoes at each other for an hour, its very messy! After the fight, people throw water on each other to get clean. My husbands Spanish and hes got family who go to the festival every year. This year, my husbands grandmother wants to go, but we think shes too old!
