One day twothieves decided to rob a jeweller’s shop in a shopping centre.

Late atnight they stopped their car close to the jeweller’s shop.

As theyentered the shop they broke a display window.

When the jewelerheard strange sounds he called police.

Meanwhilethe thieves stole diamonds and drove away in the car.

Soon afterthat the jeweller took a taxi and followed the thieves quickly.

Suddenly hesaw the thieves – they joined the traffic.

At this  (лучше that) moment they hit a bus and the car brokedown.

The thievesjumped out trying to escape on foot.

At thatmoment the police arrived and arrested them.
