SPEAKING
Talk about topic “Space Travelling”. You can use questions below as a help to organize your ideas.

The following questions will help you organize your speaking:
1. What are some of the different reasons people travel to space?
Common rationales for exploring space include advancing scientific research, national prestige, uniting different nations, ensuring the future survival of humanity, and developing military and strategic advantages against other countries.
I think that humans have been wanting to travel in space because it is in the human nature to explore what surrounds us. I think that the fundamental reason why we have been in space and to the Moon is the same reason why people have climbed the Everest, crossed Antarctica, and attempted other extreme endeavors on Earth. Curiosity can lead people to great achievements.
There are also political reasons that drove people to want to go to space. In the context of the cold war, it became a big international competition between mainly the United States and the Soviet Republic to see who would put the first man in space and who would walk on the Moon first. So in my opinion, even though the curiosity and explorer nature of humans is primarily responsible for all these things happening, these political issues made them happen for real.
2. In future, as a holiday trip, space commercial flights could be an option, what are some of the advantages and disadvantages of this type of travel?
The advantages of space tourism center around discovering more about the unknown reaches of our universe. Humans have a desire to discover more about unknown places and to solve mysteries. Space tourism could also satisfy these desires for a certain (wealthy) segment of the population. There is certainly an economic impact that would work to the advantage of companies working to supply the needed modes of transportation, so people with aerospace or computer engineering degrees would benefit from more career options. Universities with those programs would likely see an upswing in interested students. Opening up privatization of space travel also allows for growth without governmental interference; If companies have the money, they are free to move forward with their own plans.
There are disadvantages, and many of those center around the risk to humans. Space is unpredictable, and the technologies needed to reach some of the goals on the horizon haven't even been fully developed yet. There are health risks to humans in space that we already know about (radiation, risk of being hit by meteors, cosmic rays), and long term weightlessness has its risks, too. Another argument against space tourism is that it currently isn't very eco-friendly—for Earth or elsewhere. The most conservative rockets in development for space tourism require around 100,000 gallons of fuel, most of which comes from non-renewable resources.

3. What do you consider to be the most important goal for space travel and exploration? Explain and support your opinion.
Specifically, major science-based exploration goals include: • Searching for signs of life (past or present); Understanding the structure, origin and evolution of the universe and of our solar system; and, • Understanding the future of our planet.

4. Why do you think companies and governments are spending so much time and money to develop the space tourism industry?

5. What do you think is the most important space-related industry to develop? Explain and support your opinion.
