- Hello, Alina! Yes, sure! And what film should we choose? What is your favourite film genre?
- Well, I like almost everything, for example, action films and comedies, westerns and animation. Some films can make me feel happiness and joy, others fill my heart with thrill and shock.
- I agree. There are so many interesting films that it’s not easy to choose. My favourite genres are sci-fi and fantasy. They are both about unusual places, crazy creatures and courageous heroes who save our world!
- Yes, you are right. But frankly speaking, I don’t like fantasy films, because they are like fairy-tales with supernatural objects, wizards and magic. I think only small kids can watch these kinds of movies.
- Well, sci-fi films are similar. Of course, their plots are based on science and technologies, but anyway they usually tell the audience about far-future space and time-travel stories…
- Yep. Ok, let’s look at what is on this week. There is one horror film called “The Dark and the Darkest”. It’s got vampires in it.
- Oh, that sounds good. I am not keen on scary stories, though people think they might be exciting and breath-taking. But if I watch it, I will be able to write a film review for my English lesson next week.
