Task 1. Read the text and answer the questions.
The solar is made up of the sun, moon and eight planets. The names are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. These names are written in order from first to last. Once there were nine planets. The ninth was Pluto which was known as the dwarf planet but now it has been excluded from the solar system. All the planets orbit the sun. The Sun has a temperature, at its core, of more than 28,080,000° F (15,600,000° C). Our planet is the Earth. The closer the planets are to Sun, the hotter they are. Four planets – Jupiter through Neptune – have ring systems, and all but Mercury and Venus have one or more moons. The solar system itself is only a small part of a huge system of stars and other objects called the Milky Way galaxy.

Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun in our solar system. The average temperature on Saturn is - 300°F, so it is extremely cold there. Saturn spins fast so one day on Saturn is about 10 Earth hours long, but one year is 10,759 Earth days. Saturn is an outer planet and is a gas giant. It is known for its beautiful rings that are 170,000 miles across. Saturn is not the only planet with rings. Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune also have rings.
