Fantastic Film Club
The best club for thirteen- to sixteen-year-olds at our achool is the Fim Club. It's got fifty-one members and we meet every Saturday. We usually watch films together and talk about them afterwards. What do we watch? Comecdies, action films, historical films, war filma and many other types of films. I like fantasies and The Lord of the Rings films are my favourites.
Every year the members of the club do a big project. This year we are doing something special: we're making a musical about a school in New York.
Today is Saturday 16th January and we're all at the club. We're working hard because we want to start filming in two months. Rachel and Tom are over there. Rachel is writing the music for the musical. Her job is difficult because there are a lot of songs in the musical. Tom is next to her. He's writing the story for the film and he and Rachel work together. They're important people in this project.
What are the other people doing? Well, Anna is doing the special effects. In the story, there's a storm in New York and Anna is making stom noises on her computer. Are the actors acting? No, they aren't. They're listening to Tanya. She's singing one of Rachel's songs and Frank is playing the piano. They're amazing. This is going to be a great musical !​
