Task 1. Write "some" or "any".

Some ставится в утвердительных предложениях, any - в отрицательных и вопросительных.

1) I bought some cheese but I didn't buy any bread.

2) In the middle of the room there was a table and some chairs.

3) There aren't any shops in this part of town.

4) Gary and Alice don't have any children.

5) Do you have any brothers or sisters?

Task 2. Write "much" or "many".

Much используется с неисчисляемыми существительными, many - с исчисляемыми.

1) Did you buy much food?

2) There aren't many hotels in this town.

3) Were there many people on the train?

4) Did many students fail the exam?

5) Paula doesn't have much money.

6) I wasn't hungry, so i didn't eat much.
