Fully supported the October revolution and largely dedicated it to his talent. After the introduction of the NEP'and the poetry of Vladimir Mayakovsky was more directed to the criticism of the privileges of the bureaucracy and the growing of the bourgeoisie. His script "steam room" failed in the theater in Leningrad in 1930. Officials from the literature increasingly attacked Mayakovsky and in April 1930, had driven him to suicide. After the death was proclaimed the official poet of the Soviet state.
