Part I.
Four siblings Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie are sent to live in the country. They stay at the home of Professor Kirke. The Professor’s house has many rooms and some of them are almost empty.
One rainy day, Lucy finds an old wardrobe in one of the rooms.
She meets the faun Tumnus there. Tumnus tells Lucy that he is the servant of the evil The Witch made the people of Narnia believe that it is always winter and there is no Christmas there. Tumnus tells the girl that he must take her to prison. Lucy asks to let her go, and he agrees.
When Lucy gets back to her world, she tells her siblings about her adventure.
Edmund makes fun of Lucy. And one day Edmund sees how Lucy enters the wardrobe. He follows her and finds himself in the winter forest. He meets the White Witch. The Witch introduces herself to Edmund as the Queen of Narnia. She invites him to her place and gives magic sweets.
